DC Athletics announces the resignation of varsity girls soccer coach, Coach Irias. 

“Thank you for all you've done to shape our girls soccer program to what it is today,” stated Athletic Director Kevin Wallace. “Your passion, guidance, and spiritual leadership have shaped our athletes both on the field and their character off of it. Thank you for believing in DC and for creating an environment where girls can grow as athletes and as spiritual leaders. We are so grateful for everything you have done and will continue to do at DC.”

Irias was an assistant coach for the varsity boys soccer team from 2015 to 2019. He then took over the reins of the varsity girls soccer program in 2021, led the team to district berths in every season of his tenure, and consistently improved the team’s performance, increasing their win total each season. 

During his final season, student-athletes received 11 All-Delco and All-BAL selections under Irias’ leadership. 

"It's been an enormous blessing to lead the girls program and witness incredible growth both as a soccer team and as young women pursuing the Lord," stated Irias. 

Coach Irias will continue to serve at DC as a Bible teacher and discipleship coordinator.
